1055T CPU- May have brought wrong RAM kit?
Hi i just purchased a 1055T CPU, Asus M4A89GTD PRO USB3 Mobo along with 4GB of Corsair XMS3 Ram from Scan. But upon looking at the memory i have recieved today, its the CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 kit which is optimised for the Intel i7!!.... Am i right in thinking this memory will not run at 1600 and will not be able to be OC? Ive just checked on the corsair website to see whats the best ram for my above mobo and its come back with the TW3X4G1333C9DHX & CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 kits, which are actually very simular kits but for a slower memory speeds and a .5 voltage difference......I am pretty sure i picked the right type when ordering but i cannot log into my account on Scans site due to a problem. Ps can you help:)
Re: 1055T CPU- May have brought wrong RAM kit?
I have just had a look on the Asus website re this Ram and it seems this kit IS actually compatible....BUT looking at a thread on the Corsair forum (link below) there seems to be a IN-compatible problem and ram dying. Has anybody had this kit running with the above mobo and ram and was it OC ps?

Re: 1055T CPU- May have brought wrong RAM kit?
it should run fine i am running some g skill stuff that i bought initially for core i5 (certified for i5)and it runs fine. The stuff you have is 1.65v so there should be no problems there at all

Thanks for reply!
I am still reading but i think there is actually a problem with freeze ups and this mobo/ram. Apparently ram needs to be run at 1033 to stop this happening. I use photoshop to edit so hope this lower speed wont affect the program, i want the best possible hence reason i went for this setup. But i wont know until tommorow when i start the build. Cheers
