No Audio?

Hey again.

After i installed my new processor, i booted up the PC and it all worked fine apart from the audio.

I have troubleshooted this by checking if it was the speakers, the speakers work fine with another computer.
I performed a system restore, still no sound, so that rules out software related problem.

Im tempted to try putting the old processor in and seeing if that is the cause of the problem?

Any other ideas would be awesome and well appreciated

What OS are you using ? Sound card or on-board ? If on-board, do you have drivers installed ? (Probably Realtek. Should see a brown speaker icon in the system tray)
Very unlikely to be anything to do with the CPU. What does the hardware manager say about your audio devices ?

Also, check whether the drivers installed are HD or legacy. I've had similar issues in the past when I've wanted to use a legacy FP-Audio and Windows 7 installed the HD drivers
