    Enjoy your build.
No one NEEDS to do any of that stuff.
Thats more for the enthusiast/ modder.

You might want to get one of the overclocked 1GHZ GTX560TI cards and save yourself a few quid.

An HD6950 2GB is also worth a look especially if you can unlock it to a HD6970 2GB but I cannot recommend it ATM lest the Nvidia lurkers come out and beat me with their old cards.

Good starting build I've built anew rig my self

I'd prob try and buy the best graphics card you can with the next best being the screen.

Two HD in raid 0 offer good performance, and from a gaming point of view, better clear graphic would off set loading times

    You can see my rig
<< there but i over spent on mine

Ps that main board is way to over kill and expensive.

That is my personal idea of hell, the whole "bling" aspect that most modern gamers and modders are into is just really really tacky, but then I also wouldn't modify the looks of my car, yet anything under the skin is fair game.

im in the middle of a new build myself and gone for a similar spec

    CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme P67
    RAM: Corsair Dominator 1600MHz 2 x 4GB
    Storage: pci-e 240GB OCZ Revo Drive X2
Graphics card: EVGA GTX 570 SC (thinking about selling it and going for dual 560 SoC)

have to agree on that wish i had gone for a more affordable one now though this board does own, its not worth an extra £100+ (not worried about the sata fault though as im only using sata 3)
