    WAIIIIIt... BIOS sees it?
    Connect it to another PC and see if Windows can see it ? If Windows can see it as well, use this free but powerful DOS utility, TESTDISK. It can let you browse folders and even recover them.

    It's normal for the computer to still see the disk, it's more often something mechanical fails rather that the IO board.

    Tested in spare PC with the same result. Bios sees it, got into windows as slave drive but access it.
    Clicking getting more and more now. So I think this is defo the end for this drive.
