I need of a new screen!

For two I have had my current screen which is a Samsung syncmaster 226bw, and it has been amazing not only for quality but response time. But now there are a few dead pixels appearing, and with the warranty gone (i think) looking for a new one.

So an recommendation?

Looking for a 24" to 30" screen with a a low response time, will be used 100% for games.

I don't have a recommendation but since its only going to be used for gaming then you should consider the 120hz ones, some people who have them have noticed big improvements from 60hz ones.

I'll add that into my search thanks Not having much luck to find something that is as good/better than the 226bw I currently have. I was lucky that I had one of the good panels, and I don't think these are sold anymore.

There is supposed to be a cotton bud trick for dead pixels. Should be on google, and maybe worth a shot. Intrigued to know how it works!

it was around £200 at one point i have one picture quality is amazing


if not that iiyama looks quite nice. I am a big fan of there monitors usually very good quality
