I am planning on either buying an Ati 6970 or a Nvidia GTX 570. However, comparing them both, I can see that the Ati 6970 series offers memory clock speeds of 5500MHz, compared to 3800MHz - 4000MHz of the GTX 570. What is the advantage of having a high memory clock??
