    Burning onto Double layer discs

    Hello

I need help burning onto Double Layer DVD+R discs, everytime I try it, it stops and 50 percent and wont go onto the second level, I know it may have something to with layer breaks but I just have no clue as to what to do. This is happening on both my desktop and laptop, so it could be the cheap discs im using (Tesco) or the program, which gives me the option of burning to DVD-9's, having gone wrong somewhere. The programe is RZ dvd creator.

Please can someone assist, I am useless and not computer literate, I need help.

Does the DVD drive support burning to dual-layer discs? Not all do.

Re: Burning onto Double layer discs

Its an LG internal drive GH22, says on the box '8.5GB DVD+R Double Layer 16x/8.5GB DVD-R Dual Layer 12x'

It looks to be more than capable of burning DL discs...I wish i knew why it won't.

Re: Burning onto Double layer discs

use imgburn, burn on the lowest speed setting and go from there..

using cheap discs could also be the reason.

Re: Burning onto Double layer discs

So, how do I put the image I designed on RZ onto a DVD on another program?

    Is imgbrn expensive?

    Freeware

Get yourself an iso to start off with, then load it up in imgburn and get burning.

Re: Burning onto Double layer discs

So, use RZ to save the 'iso' and then burn that exact file using imgbrn, thats all I have to do?
