    how to install xp without a cdrom drive

    Need abit of help from some gurus....Long story short ive a msi wind u100 and need to reload windows XP onto it....but i dont have an external cd rom drive! now i do know there is a way to copy files to the hdd and install like that or from a usb stick but i cant be doing with all the messing about and just want a simple and easy soloution! so does anyone have any good suggestions?

    buy a USB CD drive :|

    or if you want to do it manually, repeatedly strike the installation medium against the display, it will take eventually.

    I use one of these and just grab a DVD drive out of my desktop

    various versions around, tthe one I have does all IDE and SATA drives including desktop and laptop

    Install it from a USB drive. Loads of tutorials out there. Microsoft even do an official tool for it IIRC.
