    Removing the graphics card

    Hi

Google directed me to this thread as I need to replace my graphics card:
    h t t p s : / /forums.hexus.net/help-technical-advisory/71098-replacing-graphic-card.html

and I've also found these pictures of the case with the fifth image showing the metal clip:
    h t t p s : / / w w w.bit-tech.net/hardware/2006/03/03/mesh_xtreme_fx60/3

My issue is that I don't get how that metal clip comes off and would appreciate any help

    Thanks.

(Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links so I've had to add additional spaces)

Also the graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

    NB http not https

I would guess that you press the green part of the clip to release it?

    Re: Removing the graphics card

Looking at the metal strip in the picture you will somehow unclip the green bit at one end and then it should just lift off

    Re: Removing the graphics card

Thanks for fixing the image links.

I've now been able to remove the metal clip and the graphics card so thanks for your help. Beforehand I hadn't put enough pressure on the green bit as I was concerned that it might snap off.
