    Crucial M4 128GB Firmware 009 Sata2 Speeds

    Afternoon everyone

Just wondering if anyone else with a 128gb M4 on sata2 has updated to the new firmware, 009?

I didn't benchmark it when I was running 002 so I'm not sure if the speeds I'm getting are any good.

    Spec:

    i7 860 @ stock
    Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3
    4GB RAM
Crucial M4 128 GB Firmware 009 running on SATA 2
    Win 7 64bit
Intel Storage Driver ver: 10.6.0.1002 (I'm going to update this to ver 10.6.0.1022 and benchmark again)

This is what AS SSD gives me

    Thanks

Seems your speeds are a bit slow but this is probably due to SATA 2.

    Re: Crucial M4 128GB Firmware 009 Sata2 Speeds

I've updated to the latest intel storage drivers 10.6.0.1022

    and re-enabled write cashe

No real difference since updating the storage drivers :/

    Any other ideas?
