Unhappy New PC build, no video output

Hello everyone, I'll start by mentioning that this is my first build so I more or less expected a fault to occur. Now I'll list the build's components:

    asus 5570 graphics card
amd phenom ii x4 850 processor
    asrock am3 m3a770de motherboard
    Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3 4GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory
XFX Pro 550W Power Supply Unit (Core Edition)
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATAIII 6Gb/s 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive

The issue I'm having as stated above is the lack of video output from the computer, the system turns on and there are no system beeps only a blank screen. The fans and front panel led's all turn on as well. I should also mention that non of the plugged in extras like keyboards and mouse do not function at all when plugged in.

If you guys have any potential solutions then feel free to tell me as I'm not sure what is causing the issue at the moment.

    Thanks
    Danny S

While the computer is disconnected from the mains set the CMOS jumper to clear for 5seconds (see user manual, page 22). Move it back it's normal position and see if the computer works now.

If the fault persists strip it down to motherboard, processor/cooler and psu. Having no memory/video card installed it should start beeping, if it doesn't then the motherboard is likely faulty.

These sort of faults are rather difficult to pin down without spare parts (spare motherboard, cpu, memory, etc...).

Thanks for the help, I managed to find the problem anyway I looked around and noticed this issue is most common with ram failures so i removed it and used my friends old ram sticks and it worked fine. Glad it was not as bad as it could have been. Thanks for your post non the less.

On asus boards you have to Use the RAM Slots in right order

Excellent! Out of curiosity, does your motherboard beep if you remove all the memory modules at all?
