Post Need Feedback: What help do you need?

OK guys, I'd appreciate it if you give us some input here.

Team HEXUS are working on producing some guides for the HEXUS Help section. At the moment the two I've done reside at the top of the forum, simply stickied. However, in the not too distant future a more sophisticated method is likely to be implemented, if all goes well.

Anyway, what do you guys think people would benefit from? I don't care how complex or simple it is, how in-depth it is, whether it's software or hardware; just suggest it!

To save your fingers: I have already planned writing about device driver errors, software problems, device failure and boot failures, in three separate mini-articles.

    Thanks guys!

    Kez,

I have a couple of web pages I wrote ages ago that act as a guide to explaining computer networking principles and good security practices - if it would be of value I'd be happy to polish them up, bring them up to date and let Hexus have them to publish.

They are 100% written by me, no possibility of infringed rights.

Let me know if you're interested.

Would deffinately agree about the networking, maybe a guide for Mac to PC as well? If it covered ICS would be a bonus.

Also could polish up an AMD CPUs FAQ and an AMD overclocking FAQ if anyone needs them

I like the ideas so far - the only thing I want to avoid is creating guides to things that are already out there in their masses. For example, www.ocinside.de is THE place to go for if you want AMD overclocking information (IMO.)

Still, I'm thinking away about this... keep 'em coming!

For the time being Team HEXUS are going to get the guides started, though in the future we may start accepting submissions from others.

Once more guides appear things will start to fit together better - but please, keep the suggestions coming

I thought a list of all main stream graphics/CPU's would be a good one. With their clock speeds.

A very good suggestion, though one that needs constant maintenance.

    Cheers.

Not sure whether you meant this with your post, but it would be handy showing roughly where they fit in with each other, and maybe something like Hexus recommendations for high-end, mid-range and budget choices. Of course, whether those choices are right will be up for debate

    Well i kinda meant....

    XP1700 - 1.466
    XP1800 - 1.533
    XP1900 - 1.6
    XP2000 - 1.7...after XP1900 i get lost.

but maybe a kinda spreadsheet? with price/speed/general info?

But it would be a lot of work to maintane.

The only thing is that's done already and is easy to find. I'm not opposed to providing links in a CPU FAQ to such a resource, for example. However, personally, I'd rather have guides and such that are perhaps overlooked elsewhere, or overcomplicated.
