oops forgot to partition - any ideas?

Hi,
Ive just realised that when I rebuilt my new machine (Dell is dead now just an empty husk) I formatted the drive and put a new version of XP on but when I did the partitions I created an 80GB one and then forgot to partition the rest of the 120GB drive Is there any way without rebuilding windows that I can create a second partition to use the extra space which is not surrently showing up?

is it showing up in disk management ?

Yes - it should show up in Disk management (right click on My Computer > Manage > Disk Management) as "unallocated space" which you can then right-click on and create Primary Partition of whichever flavour you require (full-FAT or NTFS).

can you not restart the windows CD installation and then create the partition when booting from the CD and format into NTFS - then simply once all this is done, just turn the PC off and restart as normal.

erm...

mostly because i wasn't aware of the disk management method of doing this tbh mate!
