    PC won't boot

Just flashed my Abit NF7-S with Abit's latest bios (25) and now the damned thing doesn't boot

The flash went fine, no problems whatsoever... yet it doesn't even make a single beep.

What went wrong and more importantly, how do I fix it?

FS, installed BIOS for v1 and not v2.0

You might need someone to do a bios hotswop for you so they can flash the proper one.

Yeah, I thought as much... I managed to get my BIOS chip out easy enough... now I just need to find someone with an NF7-S v2 who will do the hot flash for me and get the chip back by Saturday

I think agent might have the board and might be willing to do a hotswop for you

Fixed I hot swapped in an Asus... awdflash wouldn't run but Abit's killer windows flash app worked great. That thing is brutal, it does no checks whatsoever to make sure the file you're about to run is for the correct hardware.

Not if you select it manualy
If you select it via the auto update thing, it will moan about the board and refuse to flash
