Basically ive forgotten my password and my mothers maiden name....sucks right now Anyway ive tried every password i can think of however i do have something in mind im hoping may help me getting it back.
I have logged into the account recently on my laptop am i able to recover the password this way? i have already emailed hotmail to try and get the account back but waiting on a response

I'm guessing that instead of using your mother's real Maiden name, you've made one up and forgotten it?
If I'm wrong, you could just find out what her Maiden name is and get it back that way?

If you had cookies enabled, and you allowed the browser to remember passwords, you might be able to log back in using those stored credentials.

I seem to remember that when I had this issue it took hotmail a day to get back to me, but then it was sorted really quickly. Good luck.
Well they didnt help me....but had the cheek to ask me to do a survey, so i did and boy the answers were not good...oh well!

Install lastpass and it should import all the information and SHOULD allow you to see the password

Google is your matey on this one if you have a PC that you logged into it before you can pull it but this forum is not the place ....

Which browser you using? Chrome and Firefox both save the passwords in the browser and will show you them if you require. Unsure what IE or Safari or any other browser does.
When ever you do your secret password never do anything that relates to the question. For example "what is your favourite colour", well my answer tends to be for a completely different question be it maiden name or first school etc.
Get roboform and it can remember the details of the account in a cloud for you, it also logs account that you have saved very fast.
