Playstation 3 - Not displaying output

Help!!

Over the weekend I plugged my playstation into a bigger tv in the house and everything was fine and dandy, today when I've moved it back into my room and into my 32" I'm not receiving any picture, it's connected via HDMI.

Google seems to have been useless with info for this, can anybody help me out before I launch it against the wall?

I'ts one of the fat 60gb models, if that makes any difference

switch it off, hold the on button and then flick the switch at the back to turn it on, this will reset the console and you will have to set up the display again

Fixed this.

Had to find an old PS scart lead, connected it to the bigger tv, changed the output to scart, connected to 32" tv, changed the output back to HDMI.
All works it's just a royal pain in the ass.

Hold down the 'On' button (on the console, not the remote) when you first switch on, it resets the resolution. You can then choose the one that matches your new (old) telly.

Ginger-Menace had the easier fix though

Holding the power button until you hear 3 beeps will cause the graphics mode to reset. You probably plugged it into a 1080p TV, it set itself to 1080p and then you plugged it into a TV that doesn't accept 1080p...

Ahh I wish that I had refreshed this once more! That really was a pain in the ass to work round, next time I'll know to hold the power button.
