    poor sound

    hi everyone,, im asking for some help
    i have a dell laptop,, thats running on windows xp
    i have a karaoke program that i am running on my laptop
    i have poor sound quality that comes out ,, i am also running my laptop through my yorkville p.a.
    would like to know how to have a good sound quality or would like to know how to fix the problem
    what im looking for is more bass sound,, its sounds to clear thank you

    It could be a connection/impedance issue - like have you checked that you are going into the PA system to it's proper line in?

    Have you checked your windows mixer and karaoke software settings for "tone boost" or "bass" controls etc... something might be turned down?

    If the sound quality is simply poor then a usb "soundcard on a stick" might improve it some: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/speed...ard-(usb-stick) this comes in at under ten pounds and is a simple solution as much as the Lexicon interface pointed too above is nice it is quite expensive and might add some more complications.
