    Sound really quiet on pc...

So i come with yet another problem i cannot work out long story short i got myself a new headset, this time its an analog not usb, either way the problem is that i installed some new drivers (official ones) for my PC and now my volume is really low! Ive gone through settings everywhere! windows settings as well as realteks settings...volume is all maxed out yet still i cannot turn it up! even on my external speakers with there own amp its still not as loud as it use to be...have i done something without realizing? thanks!

what headphones have you got? could be that the onboard sound card can't power them, try getting a sound card such as the asus xonar dg its not expensive but will yield much better sound

    What motherboard are you using?
Are you connecting through the rear I/O Shield or the case front panel?
