BF3 you computer is running slower then normaly

Can someone put me out of missery and tell me how to go in to the registry files to permetly disable this most annoying feature built into windows.

Every time you about to kill some on in BF3 or need to pull up in a jet, the windows pop up comes up and warns you your pc is running slower then noramal. Really i am playing a game go way then you open the window and guess what... you are dead, this messege is just as annoying people walking into your rooms when playing games.
so can someone tell me how to delete, disable or blow it up with a nuke. Many thanks

    PC spec
    i7 4.5GHz
    GTX 480
    16GB RAM
    750W PSU

is not my spec thats the problem

With the PC Spec you have I don't understand why you would get that problem at all. It is way higher than my spec and I never get that warning in BF3

I get an annoying issue what EA "fixed". Constant minimizing and maximizing. So when your dog fighting your game minimizes and you end up crashing. I also get random lags when its running too, causing me to lag. The same issue when your Internet is too slow (which it isn't). So many problems in BF3, new patch = more problems.

I have a similar spec pc and get this message from time to time, I dont understand since I have 16GB ram and in game i've seen it hit 10gb with other stuff open in the background, Shouldn't be getting that message at all. I do have page file turned off, unless that's got something to do with it?

Re: BF3 you computer is running slower then normaly

I've been playing BF3 quite a bit recently and i've not had a single issue with it (touch wood )... I have 8GB of RAM and it's been fine, even with other stuff running in the background. You definitely shouldn't be having issues running BF3 with your PC's specs! Unless it's something to do with the CPU's hyperthreading? I know this feature can have adverse affects with some games.

Do you have your CPU set to have dynamic speed control, ie it reduces it clock speed when not under heavy load? Just a thought.

Re: BF3 you computer is running slower then normaly

I get it also. I assumed it was due to running multiple monitors.

I just click to disable aero and then it doesn't ask again until some time after another game is started.

If it's to do with the Aero themes in Windows then just locate your BF3 exe or the shortcut, right click > properties > compatibility - then under settings make sure "Disable Desktop Composition" is ticked.
