    Problem with Taskbar Icon, Extremely frustrating

    Hey, Basically when downloading and preparing for Diablo 3 i placed the launcher on my taskbar. Rather than it actually going on my taskbar some Random Battle.net Account Management file showed up on the on the taskbar, just a page icon. I Attempted to delete it but right clicking it brought up no options, so I found out i got options by shift-right clicking it, but i still had no unpin from taskbar option. Ive uploaded a picture of the menu here;

    This may not seem like much of a problem, but its extremely frustrating. Also, i am using windows 7 home premium
    In the link above ive seperated parts of it using Space+Space, so that this may post

    Mod Edit: URL Fixed

    Out of interest, what happens when you click on Delete? That looks like an actual executable on your taskbar rather than a shortcut.

    If you look here: C:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar you might see the executable sitting in that folder.

    When i click delete, it says "Are you sure you want to send this shortcut to the recycling bin?"
    After clicking yes, it says the file cant be found.
    I also looked in that folder you just asked me to, its not there

    try and fool it by manually creating a file in the location snootyjim said. do file>new> 'anything apart frrom folder'. then alter the name and extension to what the shortcut points to.

    then try deleing it again from off the taskbar.

    i think youll find the name of what it points to if you click on that properties link shown in your screenshot.
