At work we use McAfee VirusScan and we're having some difficulty updating the virus definitions automatically at logon on the windows 2000 machines. When the user logs onto the domain they don't have sufficient permissions to update the virus definitions (thru the logon script) because they're not an administrator on the local machine. We understand that part, but is there a way to do this update without them being administrators on the local machine? We have the logon script to run the superdat file at every logon. This works fine with the windows 98 machines because permissions don't really matter. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
