    Unhappy 350w not enough?

    Hi,

Recently my HDD keeps crashing and giving me the blue screen of death, i then reboot and get the "cannot find boot drive, please insert removeable media or reboot". Only possible problem i believe is that my 350W PSU isnt enough to power my system.

    Antec 350W
    Asus P4C800
    3ghz p4
    2x 120gb SATA maxtor hdds
    Geforce6800 GT
    SB Audigy 2
    dvd drive
    cd/rw drive
    and various fans
    1 GB corsair 3200 ram

I'm currently using one power lead for both HDDs, one for my gf6 & 1 fan and one for my 2 CD/dvd drives & a fan.

Do you have any suggestions for PSUs that have more than 3 sets of leads? or any other ideas as to why my harddrives appear to just occasionally die.

    Thanks

I really should know this seeing as I own one but I think it's 10 Molex connectors on 4 different leads.

hmm sounds like what im looking for. I'll have to take alook around for one.

I have a spare Antec 400w in my old rig although this again only has 3 different leads so i guess wouldnt be worth trying.

and thanks for the fast response

Don't trust me completely on that. It could be 3 leads. I'll check later when i go home.
I don't think separate leads is the problem though, just that the supply is struggling.

I would really like to have a seperate lead to each hdd, then one for my gfx card and the last for my cd/dvd drivers
