isapnp.sys and ntfs.sys problems

Ok, so I start up my computer and first it gives be the corrupt ntfs.sys , repaier using disk blah blah blah. THen I restart the copmuter and then get the same message but for isapnp.sys. I keep restarting it and get the same messages. Somehow, Windows then loads and I can use the computer. THis has happened a a few times now. It means its take about an hour before I can use my computer. I have tried using the recovery console but wasn't sure how to use it. And when I try using it again I can't get to it. Is there anyway I can solve these problems in Windows (now thats it loaded)?

(I'm using XP Pro - if this will make a difference.)

You might have faulty ram, corrupt hard drive section or some other hw fail going on.

have you tried a chkdsk on the hdd to check for bad sectors ?

I can't lock onto the drive and I don't want to restart my copmputer as I don't no how long it will take be to boot up again. What should I do?

Have you overclocked at all? Classic symptom of RAM crapping out

Nope, i've done no overclocking.

Anyway, looks like it the RAM. I've removed the supspect RAM and now my computer is fine. Although a lil slow. Cheers GreenPiggy, :)
