How to I find my CPU temps?

I'm using HWMonitor at the moment but I have no idea what the readings are tell me or why the reported temperatures seem so extreme.

On this screen shot in HWMonitor I have measurements for tempertatures and labels that seem to be randomly made up and then the AISuite II temp readings seem to be very different to the other readings. Also one of my readings hit a 386c(726f) max and 2c(34f) min which is quite a spread.

What temps should I be monitoring?

The extreme ones will just be a dodgy sensor and/or sensor reporting. My 2500K constantly has one at 60c - which never budges - no matter the ambient temp or what i've been doing.

Your core temps look high though, specially for an after-market cooler.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

There's an 11c difference between HWMonitor (47c) and AISuite (36c) which is the one I should take as the correct reading?

What are those other readings all about like the TZ00, TZ01, SYSTIN, CPUTIN and AUXTIN?

Also that is with CPU ovrclocked to 4567mhz and ambient room temp of around 28c just after playing a game for about an hour. The Voltage looks quite high has well with the Max hitting 1.42 but I haven't made any changes to the Voltages with this overclock, I just cranked the multiplier up to 44 and then kept increasing the Bus Speed until it reached the highest setting where it would pass Intel Burn Test without errors.

Re: How to I find my CPU temps?

I would always go by the HWMonitor readings as i have has issues with AIsuites accuracy in the past, try downloading CPUz and see what temp it records and use it as a marker, if two are close together then trust those readings. as for temps, what where you doing when you hit max? they do seem quite high though, but i would try reapplying the thermal paste

Re: How to I find my CPU temps?

The reason I thought HWMonitor was out was because AISuite and RealTemp temperatures were so close together, while HWMonitor used to be about 10c above RealTemp, at the moment the differences are closer to somewhere near the 5 to 7c mark, but I have reduced my overclock slightly (from 4567mhz to 4463mhz) which has both programs consistently reporting below 50c now and below 70c fully loaded.

I was now thinking about getting an app for my G15 keyboard to display this sort of information on the LED panel there and then maybe getting rid of one of my monitors, but I've tried a few programs and they seem quite complicated to set up. Though MSI Afterburner works well for reporting my GPU temps and activity on the G15.

*** edit *** I forgot to add my AISuite temp readings, I'll take it again and edit or maybe post it as a new picture either later today or tomorrow morning.

Re: How to I find my CPU temps?

Have to agree those temps are high, If it was me I would set my bus speed at 100 and multiplier at 45.

Does that mean that the increased bus speed is adding to the higher temps?
