    Freezing

first things first, its a shuttle SN45G, original power supply, athlon 2500+, ati 9600se, and a seagate barracuda 80gig hdd.

It freezes. not often, and i cant find a linking factor with it when it does it, but at random intervals it just stops completly. the hdd activity light goes off, but the screen stays on what it was but nothings moving. basically, it just stops.

    any ideas?

Does it stay stopped or does it start moving again after a bit? Try disabling everything running in the background and see if that makes a difference. Also is it all stock?

Check event viewer, right click my computer, click manage, under event viewer choose 'application' and/or 'system' and check the logs.

it does it at random. definatly not heat, my comp runs 47-49 degrees all the time, never over 49. it still does it even if i have the fan on full constantly. it's done it 30 seconds after restarting, and its jsut been running for 2 days solid and not done it. cant work out whats going on
