MVP and WMA's

I got one of these from pc world and after a little tinkering have got it to do pretty much everything required. However, i have some WMA's created on Windows Movie Maker 2 that just won't play. It says something about the internal transcoder. It does stream WMA's as the demo one comes thru loud and clear. Any ideas? Also has anyone got one of these running wirelessly? I understand it can be done but how? Ps, I have googled it without much luck.

Tried a lower bit rate? Is the WMA copyrighted? (Sorry dont use the format much)

Hve tried a number of versions of the same track. I don't think they are copyrighted, but will check when i get home tomorrow.
