Still get Dual Boot Screen !!!

Hi I installed win2k prof on my dell latitude d505 and i already had win xp installed , i kept the win xp partition there as i wanted to copy it so i copied it then deleted the partition . the only problem is i still get the dual boot screen when i boot anyone know how to get rid of this.

Go to Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced tab/Startup and Recovery..., select Windows 2000 from the drop down list and untick the box that says 'Display list of operating systems for... seconds.

...Or click the 'edit' button in the Startup and Recovery options and remove the Windows XP entry in boot.ini.
