    Question "Central Processing Unit (CPU)" Causing my random shutdowns?

    Well, I have my computer case out and the side pannel off. I have a fan pointing towards it right now. When I play games like, Battlefield 1942, Soldiers of fortune 2 and some others I cant remember right now, for a little bit, it shuts the computer completely off like a power shortage almost. Yea I have said this a lot but i'm wondernig since I JUST baught a brand new antec true blue 480w psu, and we all thought it was the computer getting to hot. So yea we thought maybe those were the 2 problems. Everytime this this happends, and it has happend like 10 mins ago, I turn it back on and it ask me if I would like to send an error report. I do then it gives me "Something in your Central Processing Unit is causing this problem". Everytime it's done this, it gives me that error. Could it be something wrong with the processor?

    Thanks!

    Have you tried reseating the heatsink? Maybe the CPU is overheating and the motherboard is shutting the system off.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
