    Xvid Conversion

    i hav a film in Xvid format and i want to put it on dvd, so its playable in a dvd player, obvioulsy, i need to convert it to a mpeg2 (i think), anyone know how or what i hav to do?? or software i need

    use nero, it'll do the transcoding for you

    or, use tmpgenc first. the mpeg2 part is payware.

    i tried using nero, jus writin it to dvd, but it didnt recognise the format, is ther no way i can do it without payin a fortune for software like

    This is an excellent program for converting Xvid to mpeg -MainConcept MPEG Encoder

    Do a google for it.

    cheers, this is exactly what i need, although is takes flippin ages to download, coz im stuck on my crappy conection, hopefully it will work, i tried using cinemacraft, but it was crap, and didnt work

    It's the best i have ever used,and i've checked out half a dozen all were rubbish.
