My PC just rebooted and when I checked the event viewer its claiming this
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.
what is that and why would it cause a reboot
My AV is up to date and scanned every monday and friday.
Was a reboot with a blue screen just before hand, or was it as though somebody had just hit the reset button?
maybe a blue screen I was AFK at the time
Your the lucky one! Mine today decided to compleatly power down! like one minute I'm surfing the net and the next its off! :crazy: Its done it 7 times so far today! I'm looking into buying a new power suply just in case!
right click on my computer, properties, advanced, startup & recovery, untick "automatically restart"

if so i think it's the new connection limits they have put in place.
limits? whats that all about?
under sp2 any tcp port will have a limit of 10 connections per port.
it's to stop things such has worms, the reboot could be the result of it trying to protect its self ???
