If anything can go wrong it will.
If anything can go wrong it will, and at the worst possible time.
Too true, when this weekend I needed to burn a presentation to CD and my CD-RW wouldn't play fair.
I have a feeling I may just have a bad drive, but before I condemn it to the technological graveyard I figured I'd run it past you gentlemen to see if you have any ideas.
The problem is simple. The drive receives power, will open, but when ever I put a CD in (of any kind) it simply wont run the CD or acknowledge its existence. It doesn't seem to begin to spin the CD.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drive. Even changing my drives round between master and slave etc.
The annoying thing is that the RW is my newer drive, old faithful keeps running smoothly!
Any ideas?
