    TOSHIBA P10 - Need Advice

    Hey

    Right i am after a laptop for college and my buget is not the best of budgets. A guy has offered me a TOSHIBA P10-722 for £500 but i don't know if that is any good?

    I wanted a P4 but if this is cheap then might as well go for this. Wil lthis laptop be fast? I will be using it for website design and programming on C++
    I need an answer pretty quick you see as he wants to know pretty soon.

    well it will do basic things(dreamweaver,word processing) but i would reccomend getting a laptop with 512meg of ram as this will probably help you complete your tasks allot quicker .

    Its a poor spec, 256mb of ram will make Win XP hate you, and a 20GB HDD is proably 5400rpm. You want 512MB and 40GB+ 7200rpm for that price.
