problems saveing graphics off the web

Here's the deal. Lately when i try to save a graphic off the web the only save option it gives me is BMP.

The reason this is a problem is because some of the graphics I am trying to save are motion graphics that need to be saved as a gif.

I have asked at many places about this and no one has any clue how to fix it so I thought it wouldn't hurt to try here.

Now I myself have no clue as to anything that could cause this seeing as how I am practically clueless with computers. (only a little over a year of useing them)

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Amandy

I believe (assuming you are using IE) if you go Tools > Internet options and delete temporary internet files it will allow you to save in the original image format

    Oh.

I was haveing preoblems with the view source thing as well but I don't really use that.

    Anyways. Thank you.

EDIT: well it worked for the view source thing but the images still will not allow anything to be saved as anything more then a bitmap
