Hey All,

I will cut to the chase here. I am looking for a few things to do with a website.

First - i need a simple way of making thumbnail type galleries that when clicking the thumbnails will launch the full image in another window........ideally this window could be closed by clicking on it.

2nd - I need a program that can take a shed load of files all with the same extension, jumble them up and give them a new name - something like file001.txt file002.txt file003.txt etc etc etc

3rd - I need a grafix program that can imprint a small image on a large amount of individual images / files - kind of like the hexus.gaming images, only smaller. This would need to be done on a large number of files.

Any advice or help on any of this will be appreciated.

Adobe Photoshop (and Photoshop Elements) have this features called web photo gallery and you are able to select the style of the page. Only downside is it creates quite a lot of folders and lots of files jsut for a small number of images - somewhere in the region of 5/10 files for the basic setup i.e. pages and folders.

The good thing about gallery ... upload the piccies, and it sorts all that out for you ...

thanks guys will look into them. I have my own webspace / dom name etc so space isnt an issue

Watermarking of the images could be done using a macro in PSP for example.

Or on the server end if using a gallery type library
