Is it just the mouse that freezes or is it the rest of the computer also (ie no keyboard shortcuts working, no ctrl+alt+dell etc)?

    usb

yes, its a usb mouse and keyboard, both by logitech. it will mostly happen about 10 minutes after its been on...then ill reset it via the rest button. im thinking ill buy a cheap usb optical mouse, all my mates have wireless usb keyboards and mouse, so i dont really know anyone with a usb optical mouse.

at least then i can see if the same thing happens, was just wondering if anyone else with a mesh pc/optial mouse was suffering with the smae problem.

    bellyboy

Trying another mouse if you have access to one is a good suggestion but more often than not it isn't the mouse at fault.

When this happens try tapping the NUM LOCK key on the keyboard. If the light comes on or goes off when you do this then it's not the hardware that has crashed. If the light doesn't come on, or is already on but doesn't go off, it is more than likely the system itself has frozen, and as a result the mouse pointer freezes leading you to beleive it is the mouse at fault.

Either way, if you email me at services@meshcomputers.com remembering to include your serial/order number along with your screen name (bellyboy), I'll have an engineer look into your problem for you.
