Monitor enters power save mode on start up!

Help, as soon as I turn my computer on the monitor enters power saving mode.
Everything was working fine until I enabled MSI Fast Boot in the bios.
I have tried multiple monitors plus my tv in all the ports and removed the graphics card and tried.
Everything seems to power up ok except I cant turn on the numLk or capsLk light on the keyboard.
Dont know what else to do, is there a way to reset the bios?

Theres plent of ways to reset the bios. Depending what model you have you'll have to either short two pins, or you may have a button.

Hi thanks for the reply.
There is something in the manual about a CMOS button, i've tried pressing it but nothing seems to happen.
I have a MSI Z87-G45

Removed the battery on the motherboard, waited and reinserted it. Still nothing.

That won't clear the CMOS (unless you had the PSU off as well). Leave the batt in, and short the jumper labelled JBAT1 thats just above the bottom PCIx16 slot make sure the PC is powered off when you do it.

I followed a guide on the MSI website on resetting the CMOS.
I have also disconnected all the drives and unplugged everything from the usb ports and tried starting it with only the PSU CPU+cooler and 1 stick of RAM.
As soon as u press the power button the monitor enters power saving mode.
I have also started a thread on the MSI forums.

I took the motherboard out of the case and tried it with just the basics connected and still nothing. I even reseated the CPU.
If I try to connect the monitor with a VGA cable it says, 'No DVI-D cable, this display will go into power saver mode in 5 minutes'
I dont know what else to try!

tried 2 other monitors and my tv in the dvi-d, vga and hdmi ports. The tv is a black screen, the monitors go on standby as soon as you plug them in.
The motherboard is lit up and the fans are working, but no Num or Caps lock light on the keyboard.
I am using the monitor for my laptop now!
