Hi to keep this post short and sweet i will summarise. PC has had windows installed no problems, after leaving it to download games from steam and coming back the PC was displaying uefi bios, each time i reboot it boots straight to uefi bios? Help!! Is about a week old and was running great until this.

What boots straight to the BIOS? That's very odd.
Del key isn't stuck on the keyboard is it?
Other than that try defaulting the BIOS or flashing it to latest; sounds like some strange thing at the BIOS level otherwise

Hi, thanks for the reply, good point about the del key! But no it's not stuck it boots up, goes to the sata config screen shows the 2ssd drives in raid, reboots then goes in to bios. That's it!

SATA config screen? Do you mean when it's POSTing? No errors whatsoever?
My guess is if it isn't booting something's up with your RAID setup.

On some motherboards, UEFI BIOS cna be set as the 1st boot device. Bump it down and replace it by your HDD

Have you gone through the new BIOS settings and checked everything is as it's meant to be. e.g. it hasn't turned off AHCI etc. My board went through a patch of doing that and it got very annoying. seems to have settled down now though.

Dont know how but i resolved this, i broke the raid and rebuilt the PC. pain but it seems ok now.
