    ummm... vodoo display...

    Since I instaled my ultra my monitor seems to turn black then back! Like when I'm at my desktop and I click start all programs and I just let my mouse sit there... my monitor will flash from the desktop to black and back over and over agin!

    How can this be? It only does this when I hit the start menue and then all programs....

    Also when the screen comes back my font is all blury! Also there is some strang defects on the screen... Please tell me this is just a driver isue?

    yea, the latest and the 70. something betas... It looks like clear type is being forced some how... but even the smiles to my left of this web page are blury now... And thoes lines apear on programs but not the desktop... very anoying!

    HELP!

    Ok, so I'm getting no help.. Perhaps this before and after pic will help! On the left is before my screen goes black! On the right is after! THE IMAGE IS EXACTLY PIXEL FOR PIXEL LINED UP! And yes the image is very big! However I needed to show you what I was talking about... and yes its uncompressed 600 some k's... Also once it goes bad I have video play back problems as well...

    First thing that springs to mind is heat. Can you be any more specific with the issues you are having?

    more specific... ummm... I turn on my computer... I surf the net.... the screen goes baclk! I have no display for a second, then it comes back like the right side of that pic above... Then it will go black agin... comes back still messed up! The GPU core is a constant 53... If yous didnt notice the right side of that pic is all blury... thats how it looks after my screen goes black! A big blury screen! I didn't spend $1600 dollars to have a 20.1 inch blury screan!

    Well you can safely rule out the monitor as being the problem for a start. Where to look next, if not heat, I am unsure.
