Question Driver Installation, Where is corsair?

    http://i.imgur.com/qB9CTEC.png

The above link shows the driver installation manager in windows 8. I'm attempting to make my m95 corsair mouse work after reinstalling windows from 7->8, but it hate my mouse, I turned to this method, to find that corsair isn't an option in this menu.

This also means I can't perform this fix http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=104856

Anyone experienced in these matters? THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE!

Re: Driver Installation, Where is corsair?

Wouldn't you need to download the drivers then click "Have Disk" ?

At which point you would go to the downloaded driver directory and find the relevant folder/driver and it should install.

Edit : Seems drivers are a bit touch and go, have you tried the download from this page :- http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/vengean...gunmetal-black - Just click the download tab and then Gaming Software Update.

You can usually find any driver by goggling for them. Sometimes it's actually better to ignore Windows and go to the manufacturer website anyway.

Annoyingly the software for download there has a weird issue where it "cannot detect the m95 mouse". Meaning it wont let me install anything.

    Try unplugging the mouse.
Use a different mouse to navigate and install the driver, then reboot and plug in the M95.
Similar thing happened to a friend of mine with the Roccat Kone, and that is how he got it working.

Re: Driver Installation, Where is corsair?

Obscurity in the image you posted a driver wont be seen from a third party unless you have installed it previously.

Do you get anything from update driver - search automatically or Windows update - set on Microsoft & others - scan for updates.

If not attempt the Corsair gaming software suite program (if that's what its called i haven't used Corsair keyboard / mouses) reinstall it using admin rights with mouse connected.

Another option is use a usb 2 port if you can on the rear of computer front and side ports tend to get less power and usb 3 ports might need a driver if you can to run them properly if there Intel though no luck there been there before haha
