    eDeals Adware/Malware

Not sure if this is in the right section of the Hexus forum..

    My problem is eDeals.
I have tried everything to get rid of this nuisance. There are ads popping up everywhere, as you can see from these screenshots:

    I have tried:

    CloudSystemBooster
    HitManPro
    Malwarebytes
..and a few other free trusted programs.

CloudSystemBooster actually found the .exe on it's "Remove Programs" feature (which wasn't visible via the Windows Control Panel method) and the problem was solved for a few minutes. Then after opening a new tab on Chrome the adverts were back at large..

I've also uninstalled Google Chrome along with all of its credentials - but still no luck.

My only other resort is to reinstall Windows. But I would like to avoid that in possible!
If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them!

Try www.eset.com/online-scanner, it seems to pick up and get rid of quite a lot of these kind of things. Check your Add-ons in IE as well. And your startup items in msconfig. I dealt with a buzzit infection which was similar to this, and it has a startup entry to re-install if you got rid of it.

    Re: eDeals Adware/Malware

I know you say you've tried malwarebytes, but having fixed a few family members' computers with similar problems, I've always booted into safe mode and then run a scan. It has always worked for me.
