    Centre speaker distorted

    Hi,

I have a Logitech 5.1 surround sound system, connected to a Windows 8.1 system with a creative sound blaster zx sound card. I have been running this setup for a few months now without any issues. A few days ago I tried using some RCA cables, trying to improve quality of the sound output. Just messing around really. Anyway, now my centre speaker is fuzzy/distorted. Everything is back as it was before.
So what I did was I swapped the centre cable to the left front speaker input on the subwoofer and now the left front speaker sounds distorted with the centre speaker working.

What does this mean? Do I have a faulty subwoofer input? or faulty centre speaker?

I have reinstalled the creative drivers but that hasn't fixed the issue.

it sounds like your sub is ok as it sounds fine when using it on a different port,
Have you tried using your old cables to see if the problem still persists?
