    Youscrewb messing with video quality

Ok So Ive been uploading videos to youtube for ~6 years at this point. However recently it seems no matter what I do my videos always come out minecrafty (well they are ok), but I have old videos from 3-4 years ago that look far better than videos Ive uploaded in past 3-4 months.

Encode preset has been the same each time.

Ive even tried insane bitrate H264s (Gone from the usual 24Mbps to 250Mbps and still have Quality Issues).

Im using Adobe Premiere Pro / Media Encoder CS6 - Any Ideas on settings.

If they look fine before you upload them, then it's probably YouTube putting in a low quality "placeholder" video before it gets processed by their systems (guess they must be getting busy for some reason).

I'd give it a few hours and try again.

This is from personal experience (albeit a few years ago now) of uploading videos to a previous employer's corporate channel, getting dragged backwards over the coals for the shoddy quality only for the quality issues to magically resolve themselves when YT got through the queue and processed them properly.

Nah it does change even after ~1 Week.

EDIT: Tried doing it at work using Mainconcept x264 on Adobe CC and there arent close to as many quality issues.

Odd, maybe they've changed their codec support - could be worth contacting their support team, they might have an explanation.

I can confirm I just tested using Adobes Built in H264 Encoder in Adobe CC 2014, the quality is awful. It looks like they did something and broke adobe encoder support.

Re: Youscrewb messing with video quality

My recent gaming videos look terrible - and they're playing in max settings 1080p:

It was a vid I took for a mate so no voiceover. I don't understand the poor quality? It was captured using shadowplay and the OG video looks amazing.
