    Yes, very good. The best you'll get for that budget, aside from a 6800le with unlocked pipes...

    my 9700 pro plays doom3 in high settings perfectly

    get an old and dated card, u know u want to :hehe:

    the 6600gt will be fine on Doom 3, you'll be able to play it on Ultra settings let alone High settings

    yup,i have my oc'ed asus 9600xt on normal settings i think in 1280x1024 i think,and its a lil jumpy but once its going....

    a 6600gt will not play doom3 acceptably on ultra settings so dont expect too much.

    it should be fine @ 1024 x 768 with high quality though it may still get a little jumpy occasionaly but it shouldnt be too bad.

    why doom3 anyway u wanna be playin half life 2 m8y
