Hi all,
Im looking for recommended web hosting companies in the UK.

Im currently with DSVR(http://www.dsvr.co.uk), who over 5-6 years have been faultless but I want to shop around and see what alternatives there is.
I have 10-20 sites at the moment and

Ideal features should be:
PHP4 +
MySQL
Perl
Multiple TL Domains - or if the price is right multiple accounts with the same vendor
Multiple POP3 mail boxes
Some sort of online control panel etc

and if possible:
Telnet Access

Any ideas or even other forums where this would be better posted?

i use www.hostway.com, quite cheap, but american based, never had any problems.

I friend pointed out a site he had found by accident http://www.web-mania.com
I had a look and its £20/year for a single domain account with loads of stuff included(see my post above), looks to good to be true.....
Also the site is a little amateurish.

Check out the Livechat button, I was chatting to a support tech and I was asking questions such as can you point me to sites that are hosted on your servers etc, and the urls he sent were pretty poor(content), although this aint here bag, it certainly did nothing to 'sell' their services to me. He also said they host 10,000 sites!!
I think I insulted him when I asked 'is this a really a human being?', after which where was no reply.- Oops :-)

have you tried www.webithost.co.uk they offer everything and more than you want or need for stupidly low prices, lol ive been with them for ages and they are great, you should really check them out.
