new setup with install problem

Hi
i just got this bundle https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...=6&subcat=2858 , when i try to install windows 8.1 and each time i try to move the mouse it will lock up the mouse and some times blue screen , iv tryed to use the keyboard but i get up to the partition screen and get an error saying it cant install and gives me an error code.
iv had the install windows problem before and just unpluged every harddrive bar the dvd rom and ssd but it did not work
iv also tryed just useing the onboard gfx and got the same issue ran memtest and got no error's, the ram im useing is from my old amd set up (ddr3).

Did you clear CMOS and load defaults after doing initial build?

I did not clear the cmos but one of the things i tryed was load defaults but got the same errors
as for the error code il post that when i get home tonight (im at work )

I figured it out , the main bord dose not like mixed memory and i happen to have three diffent makes of memory in my pc.

Does three makes indicate an odd number of sticks?

Pass , but i got 4 sticks of ram 2 of them are gell 8 gig (2x4 dule channel kit) 1x4 gig crucial and a 2 gig stick from Samsung. All i did was take the 2 gig out.

Sometimes a BIOS can cause the error because it isn't coded for some CPU's.
Somehow if u can get into even Safe Mode or a Windows LIVE DVD, try doing a BIOS Update and then see how your installs go.
If that fails, then its the RAM. But if RAM is good, then its the Mobo.
