Yeah, go for it. Graphics card probaby wont be up to much for games (Probably be something oldish now Rad 7000 Geforce 4 series maybe) But the board, processor and fan for that price is pretty decent deal.

Not worried about graphics i just bought a 6800 card which is the reason why i need to upgrade as my pld pc xp1800+ and mobo not up 2 it

In that case yes - You can then be more selective about your graphics.

Just got a geforce 6800 that was the trouble with my old mobo and chip i dont think it could handle the games when i turned everything on high the game kept pausing and stuttering (halflife 2)

The stuttering is a bug with the game...

But yes it will most definately play beetter with that CPU
