Question Logitech Elite Duo low battery after 3 days of use?

Hey guys! I just got my brand new Logitech Elite Duo (keyboard//mouse) and well I put brand new batterys in the mouse, let it sit on the charger all day and all night and the mouse's light is blinking red. Isnt that somewhat odd considering the fact its practically brand new? I Just installed the new devices about 3-4 days ago and I charge it everytime I do not use it. Know anything? Any help is great!

    Thanks all!

Well I put in two batteries because I saw a battery holder on the mouse. Then it started saying "low batteries" and I was like huh? So then I took them out after you said "are you using the rechargable batteries supplied?" then I put it on the charger after that and the red blinking light on the mouse keeps blinking. Does that mean its charging? I had it on there for at least 1 - 1 and a half hours and I take it off to see if it works yet no movement

well I had it on the charger without the batteries in it for about 2 to 3 hours and it didnt do jack squat. So I went and put in the same batteries, and now it says low batteries again. I dunno what's going on?

Did your mouse come with the two batteries? Have a look on the batteries and see if they say either alkaline/nimh/nicad/lion. Report back

Thats very strange, if it came with a charger it must have come with batteries. You could go out and buy 2x AA (I assume they are) Nimh batteries. The higher the mAH the longer they will last.

Nimh? Whats the best brand? I'm pretty sure they're cheap so I Might as well go for the best!

You need to make shure there rechargeable! IF NOT YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR MOUSE! Hence "Nimh" and what ever you do dont go Radioshack!

Any will do really, they are all based on the same technology. Il try and track down the original batteries that really should have come with your mouse.

No it's not. Just do not put the mouse back on the charging dock as they can't be recharged. If you do they will leak and sometimes explode.

My logitech MX700 here that came with batteries has 1800mHA Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries, Size AA 1.2V.

Its only chraging if the light blinks green on my MX700, also you need to make sure the contact are clean otherwise it wont charge, and mine can sometimes be quite difficult when you put it in the cradle, you have to make sure its properly seated....
