Hi
This morning i was using my computer as usual, decided to back up my iPhone... mistake!
I plugged it in, and seconds later the power shut off to the computer! Oh dear!
Now, i noticed that the plastic around the lightning connector on my cable was broken, many people I'm sure experience this as cables get older.
I tried a different cable and it seems to sync fine and both my computer and iPhone seem to be fine.
So, my question is:
Is there likely to have been damage to my phone or my computer that I don't know about?
And is a broken cable actually dangerous to myself or anyone/anything else... I will buy a new cable, but I'm just curious!
Cheers
