    Bios Upgrades

I have an old Tulip pc and i want to see if i can upgrade the Bios. Problem i have is Tulip don't seem to have an archive on their website where i can download a bios update. I have ran SiSoft sandra it told me that the board was made by Datatech - again i can find no info - the bios string according to sandra is 02/15/2000-i440bx-w977 2a69kd1pc-00, and yet again i can't find anything for this string (can find loads for 2a69km...)

What i was wondering is, is there like a generic bios i can flash a BX board with or are all bioses board specific?

Firstly get this to identify your main board

Then have a look here and see if there any matches
