Microsoft updated the outlook website yesterday, while I got to grips with the new layout fast enough I have one niggle. The junk mail count shows read and unread mail instead or unread only like every other folder, anyone else got this bug?

Heh, dunno, another thing they changed was the ability to have send-only linked accounts. So this week I've had to delete my forward rule, set up a new mailbox with my domain provider, link that via IMAP, and work out the niceties of managing the two mailboxes in parallel. Which has, of course, scrapped all of the junk filtering outlook used to do for me, because the emails are no longer arriving at outlook.com directly, they're being retrieved by IMAP.
Needless to say, I'm not right impressed with the updates... *sigh*
Sorry, I am not all that knowledgeable in this, but what's the problem with the emails being retrieved by IMAP? Don't all email services work that way? Well, using protocol like IMAP or POP3? All of the mail would be stored on the Outlook server anyway. Wouldn't it just be a matter of changing your junkmail filter settings again?
I've noticed the Junk Mail count thing, and it does grind my gears. If I've left stuff in there, I know it's there, I want to know if there is new mail in there, not how many I've left in there that I've already read.
Clutter still does bugger all even though it is on. What a fubar this is.
